Our history

The Moroccan Association of Switzerland was founded in 2005. Its founding members had felt the need, which had become need to bring together the many Moroccans living in Switzerland to work on a range of social and cultural projects in both Switzerland and Morocco.

A large number of people in the Moroccan community in Switzerland also expressed the need for an official body to support them to support them in their aspirations to better integrate and invest in Switzerland, as well as an interlocutor for the authorities and the Swiss population. The dynamism of Moroccan culture has also played a role in the desire to found an association that would organize events to promote exchange and encounters between Moroccans and Swiss.
